What to Know Before Laser Hair Reduction
Laser hair reduction targets pigment in the hair. Skin tone, a recent tan, and hormonal hair growth change the plan.

How the treatment works
The device delivers energy absorbed by melanin in the hair shaft, which heats the follicle. Hairs in the active growth phase respond most strongly, so sessions are repeated as new hairs cycle in.
Coarse, darker hair usually responds better than fine or grey hair. That limitation should be said before you pay for a large area.
Preparation that affects safety
Avoid tanning and sunburn on the area. The clinic will tell you how long before. Shaving is often advised just before the session. Waxing and plucking remove the root and are usually stopped in the weeks prior.
Tell the doctor about isotretinoin, photosensitising medicines, a history of keloids, and pregnancy. Sudden thick facial hair needs a hormonal assessment, not only a device.
After a session
Redness and swelling around follicles can last hours to a couple of days. Blistering or increasing pain is not expected and should be reported.
Hair often sheds over the following weeks. That shed is treated hair, not new growth. A full course still takes months. Dr. L. Divya reviews suitability in person at the Miyapur clinic. The public website does not name a device model.
